Red – Generally used on chevron lines (diverging and merging lines) in addition to major road and stop delineations. Red signifies highly cautious areas on the roadway, and is used as a color to alert and repel drivers as to upcoming dangers that may exist on the road.
Green – Is used mainly for highway exit lanes. The green color can be implemented to show the driver that they are able to "turn-off" or exit the highway at the particular point where the green lights are installed.
Amber – Is mainly used on all road edge lines to highlight the general caution that must be adopted while driving on the roadway at all times.
Blue – Is not a heavily used color in the color coding index however can be installed in front of road-humps and on the edge of bicycle lanes. Blue can also be coded specifically to highlight bus-stop areas and other similar concepts.
White – Is specifically used on the middle filter lines on the road. The white color is made to contrast perfectly with amber, so a general roadway will consist of amber edge lines with white middle filter lines.
